Holiday Zone - Advertiser help

Holiday Zone is an easy to use Internet based advertising board where you can advertise your holiday accommodation. It is currently free to advertise on Holiday Zone.

To advertise your accommodation click on the Advertise option from the homepage. You will first be asked to Sign-up to become a Registered User of Holiday Zone. (You are under no obligation to then advertise your accommodation). You select a User ID and we assign you with a Personal Identification Number (PIN). You then be given access to the Advertise Accommodation on-line form where you provide full details of your holiday accommodation. Your advert will then appear on Holiday Zone as soon as it has been checked by Holiday Zone. It is advised that you view the Holiday Zone Terms and Conditions.

To become a Registered User you will be asked to Sign-up by selecting a User ID and providing contact details. We automatically assign you with a Personal Identification Number (PIN). It is important that you keep a record of your User ID and PIN as these details will be needed when entering your accommodation details and in any correspondence with Holiday Zone. However, if you do forget your User ID or PIN contact the Holiday Zone office and we will remind you of these details. Please note that registering with Holiday Zone does not obligate you to advertise with Holiday Zone. The contact details you provide when signing up with Holiday Zone should be for the person who will be dealing with the advertisement, these details will not be shown on the website. There is space on the Advertise Accommodation Form (where you enter in your accommodation details) to enter the contact details for the person who manages the accommodation and deals with bookings should these be different from your own.

When you have registered you will then be given access to the Holiday Zone Advertise Accommodation Form. This form is where you enter the precise details of the accommodation you wish to advertise.

The Advertise Accommodation Form is an on-line form where all the details of the accommodation should be entered. Please read the form through in full before you begin. You may want to print this help section to assist you in completing the form. If you choose to visit this help page while you are completing the Advertise Accommodation Form your details will be stored.

Rates: Enter here all the different rates for your accommodation e.g. £20 per night or £300 per week etc.

Holiday Type: Enter here the type of holiday your accommodation is most suitable for. Select from sun/beach, country, urban, ski/snowboard, activity. It is possible here to enter multiple categories. This facility allows people visiting the site to search for a particular type of holiday.

Accommodation Description: This is where you can enter a full description of your accommodation. Give as much information as space permits. The first 40 words of your property description will be used as a summary of your property for the summary page.

Photographs: Enter in a description of the photograph you intend to send or upload and select your preferred method of sending the photograph to us. If you choose the post option send the photograph to us (with your payment) and we will scan the photograph in and place it with your information on the site. Until your photograph is received an "awaiting photograph" notice is placed on your advertisement. If you do not wish to have a photograph on your advertisement please select the no photograph option.

The upload option is suitable for those people who have a copy of their accommodation photograph on their computer. To upload a photograph of your accommodation simply select browse and find the file from on your computer. Click open and the file name will appear in the upload box. Click the upload button ensuring the photograph is the correct size and file type.

Accommodation Details: Enter the details of your accommodation providing as much information as possible. If there are any other amenities that are not listed please type these in the other options box. If there are any amenities you feel should be listed please contact Holiday Zone and these can be added to the form.

Local Area Information: Enter in here any local area information that helps browsers of Holiday Zone decide which accommodation to choose. For example for a ski apartment give details of the local resort. Or if there is a local town of interest then this information should be provided here.

Additional Information: This space is provided for you to enter in any further information about your accommodation which you feel relevant. For example, "suitable for children".

Please read the form and check that all sections are completed fully and accurately. Then click the Post Advertisement button to place your advert. Your advert will appear when it has been checked by Holiday Zone.

If you chose not to upload your photograph you can send via post to Holiday Zone, 67 Waldstock Road, London, SE28 8SF, UK or via email. Please enclose with the photograph your User ID and PIN and also the unique advert reference number provided on completion of the Advertise Accommodation Form.

Return form by e-mail

If you place your advert on Holiday Zone by completing and returning a form by e-mail, your details will be added to Holiday Zone and appear live on Holiday Zone within a short time period. To request a form to be sent to you via email simply contact us and a form will be emailed to you immediately.

Return form by post: If you place your advert on Holiday Zone by completing and returning a form via the post, include your form and photograph and your details will be added to Holiday Zone and appear live on Holiday Zone within a short time period.
